What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process begins with a free consultation where we assess the space, discuss your goals, and offer expert advice on colors and finishes. Then, we provide a detailed written estimate. Once approved, we schedule the job at your convenience. On the start date, we prep the area carefully to protect your property, complete the painting with precision, and clean up thoroughly. A final walk-through ensures you’re 100% satisfied before we consider the job done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has hands-on experience in residential and commercial painting, with formal training in surface preparation, color theory, and finishing techniques. Several of our crew members have completed OSHA safety certification and EPA Lead-Safe Certification, which is especially important for older NYC buildings. We also stay updated with new products and techniques through workshops and manufacturer training programs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love the precision and satisfaction that comes with transforming a space. After gaining hands-on experience and learning the ins and outs of the trade, I decided to launch my own painting business here in NYC to deliver high-quality, reliable service with a personal touch. What types of customers have you worked with? I've worked with a wide range of customers, including homeowners, renters, property managers, real estate agents, and small business owners. Whether it's a single-room refresh, a full apartment repaint, or prepping a space for sale or lease, I tailor each project to meet the client’s needs and timeline. I’ve also worked with both first-time clients and repeat customers who value consistent, high-quality results.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my favorite recent projects was for an elderly woman living in an affordable housing unit. She wanted her living space refreshed as the old grey paint was dull, peeling, and just made the room feel tired. We worked within her budget to give the room a complete facelift, and when it was done, it truly came to life. The new colors made the space feel brighter and warmer, and depending on the lighting, it even gives off different tones. She told me it brought her joy and improved her mood every day.
